It’s a Wonderful Thing!
It’s a wonderful thing whenever:
●A person hears the gospel, comes to believe in Jesus as the Son of God, and then puts on Christ in baptism (John 3:3-5; Gal. 3:26-27).
●The new believer takes hold spiritually and begins to grasp what this new life is all about (2 Peter 3:18).
●The old life of sin is left behind, and now all choices are made with Christ in view (2 Cor. 5:15, 17).
●The Bible becomes a daily source of understanding, strength, and encouragement (Rom. 15:4).
●Prayer becomes a way of life, and praise a daily sacrifice (Rom. 12:12; Col. 4:2; 1 Thess. 5:17; Heb. 13:15).
●Relationships with fellow believers grow stronger and stronger and spiritual kinships take on deeper meaning than family ties or worldly friendships ever did (Matt. 12:46-50; John 13:34-35).
●Serving and sharing become a source of joy never found before in selfish pursuits (2 Cor. 8:1-5; Gal. 5:13).
